Cisco GLC FE 100BX D is a 100Base SFP transceiver use 1310nm via single mode fiber, its max working span is 10km, the GLC FE 100BX D is a BIDI SFP that works with its partner transceiver GLC FE 100BX U, they form a pair to work on simplex optical fiber, both of them use LC interface and in standards SFP packages, hot pluggable.

The GLC FE 100BX D transceiver consists of three sections: a FP laser transmitter, a PIN photodiode integrated with a trans-impedance preamplifier (TIA) and MCU control unit. All modules satisfy class I laser safety requirements.
 

The GLC FE 100BX D SFP-BIDI transceivers are high performance, cost effective modules supporting data-rate of 155Mbps and 20km transmission distance with SMF.

The GLC FE 100BX D transceivers are compatible with SFP Multi-Source Agreement (MSA) and SFF-8472. For further information, please refer to SFP MSA.
